ABX London to feature Laurent Mekies and spotlight power shift across motorsports

The next edition of the Autosport Business Exchange (ABX) will take place in London, following a successful event in New York City that highlighted the rise of racing in America.

ABX London will be held on January 21st, 2026, and take place at Town Hall by Bottaccio, King’s Cross, London, preceding the 38th edition of the Autosport Awards at the Roundhouse later that same day.

The prestigious event will be headlined by Laurent Mekies, who was recently appointed CEO & Team Principal of Oracle Red Bull Racing in Formula 1. He will take part in an exclusive, in-depth conversation on leadership, competitive transformation, and the ever-changing commercial landscape heading into the next era of F1 with new regulations.

The event will also feature insight from Alejandro Agag, the co-founder and chairman of the all-electric Formula E Series. Graeme Lowdon, who will lead the Cadillac F1 entry as team principal, will also be present. Ellie Norman (chief marketing officer for Formula E) and Nikolas Tombazis (FIA single seater director) will be among the list of attendees as well.

The invite only, half-day program (8:30 a.m.–12:30p.m.) will focus on the power shift across the motorsports world, exploring the factors that are reshaping investments, regulations, technology, and audience behavior throughout the globe. There will be deep discussions around all of these topics and more as the world moves into a future where AI becomes more prominent, audiences rely less on cable and more on streaming, and the cars continue to evolve and advance.
