Jennifer Lawrence, Kendall Jenner & Kylie Jenner Do An LBD Three Ways

Few fashion formulas prove as enduring—or as effortless—as the little black dress. And at Dior’s star-studded VIP dinner in Beverly Hills last night, Jennifer Lawrence, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner each offered a masterclass in the art of an all-black ensemble, interpreting the timeless palette through three distinct styles.

Lawrence, ever the champion of 70s-infused sophistication, chose a long-sleeved pussy-bow blouse paired with a scalloped midi skirt that felt equal parts retro and refined. The gold and pearl anklets and sleek black pumps only reinforced the sense of subtle glamour.

Kylie, meanwhile, brought a sultry confidence with a more directional take on the LBD. Her look featured a mock-neck dress with soft draping and a leg-baring hemline that stood on its own, sans any flashy accessories. Simple pointed black pumps and a slicked-back bun were all that was needed to complete the outfit.

True to form, her sister Kendall turned to her signature move of pulling from the fashion archives. Her John Galliano-era Dior dress, sourced from Tab Vintage served as a chic ode with a slinky black shift boasting a satin bow and fringe from the Maison’s Spring/Summer 2008 collection. She grounded the look with The Row’s Cleo Bijoux sandals.
