Esteban Ocon to auction fan-designed Brazil GP helmet for charity for five-figure sum

Haas Formula 1 driver Esteban Ocon is set to auction his fan-designed, race-worn Brazilian Grand Prix helmet for charity, Laureus Sport for Good Foundation, via F1 Authentics.

The French driver wore the helmet to an 11th-place finish in the sprint race and 12th place in the grand prix in Interlagos.

After running a competition for fans to submit their designs for the helmet, Ocon selected the winning one. The helmet is a one-of-a-kind and will be available for auction from 18 November, with bids starting at £10,000.

The proceeds of the sale will be donated to the Haas driver's chosen charity, the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation.
