Sting Ray Robb to continue with Juncos Racing for 2026 IndyCar season

Juncos Hollinger Racing has confirmed that Sting Ray Robb will remain with the team for the 2026 season, ending weeks of speculation about the future of the 24-year-old driver.

Robb’s renewal marks his second consecutive year with Juncos Hollinger Racing after rejoining the organization in 2025, five years after the two captured the 2020 Indy Pro Championship together.

The Idaho native will be paired with Rinus Veekay, who signed with Juncos Hollinger Racing for the 2026 IndyCar season last October, replacing Conor Daly.

“Sting Ray is a key pillar in the structure we’re building for 2026. His commitment and approach match the ambition driving this team forward,” team principal Dave O’Neill said.

“We took meaningful steps this year, but we know there’s far more potential to unlock – and 2026 is our chance to convert that progress into real performance gains. With the continuity Sting Ray provides, combined with the pace, experience and race-winning pedigree Rinus brings, we believe this lineup gives us the firepower to move up the order quickly.”

Robb began his IndyCar journey in 2023 with Dale Coyne Racing before moving to A.J. Foyt the following year, and then to Juncos in 2025. His best result last season was ninth at Long Beach on his way to finishing 25th in the standings. His 22.1 average starting position was his best in the series so far, while he achieved a 19.6 average finish.

“This season is massive for me and I'm embracing it fully. It’s my first opportunity to run with the same team for a second season and I'm ready for what it demands,” Robb said.

“What’s key for me is the continuity – working with the established team members and the newer faces we all trust, with everyone focused on elevating across all areas. Having Dave’s experience at the helm has been huge. You can feel the way his racing pedigree shapes our processes, the way he leads the room and the overall professionalism. Pair that with the insight from Adam Carroll and the six seasons of experience Rinus brings as a teammate, and it feels like the whole operation is headed in the right direction. With Robb confirmed for a second season at Juncos Racing, the only remaining seat in IndyCar for 2026 is Coyne’s second entry. Prema Racing’s own future as a team is still to be determined, but Prema Racing boss Rene Rosin recently told Motorsport.com that both Callum Ilott and Robert Shwartzman would remain part of the team if it continues on the grid.
