7 Egyptian Fashion Brands To Have On Your Radar
Okay, let’s be honest. We’ve been sleeping on Egypt. While the global fashion conversation has long been about the global fashion capitals and, more recently, a handful of Middle Eastern labels, including Lebanon and the Gulf countries, Egypt has been quietly building one of the most compelling design scenes in the Arab world, and it’s been happening for years now, if you know where to look. But now with Egyptian names landing on international red carpets and on the arms of everyone from Gulf royalty to Hollywood A-listers, there are no more excuses.
Whether in the bridal sector, accessories or even jewellery, Egypt has renowned designers for each, and GRAZIA has prepared a list of some of its best designers worth knowing for you.
Since founding her label in Cairo in 2006, Yasmine Yeya has built a bridal and couture house that now counts Gulf royals, first ladies and international dignitaries among its clients. Her work is defined by a very particular kind of femininity. A “modern fairytale” aesthetic with a blend of delicate femininity and powerful, functional couture. The divine and fairytale-like designs, sculpted but fluid, luxurious but never overworked. The kind of dressing that makes a woman feel at her most elevated self. In 2017, she relocated to Dubai Design District, where the brand is perfectly positioned to serve a clientele that demands the very best.
Founded in 2012 by Farida Temraz, Temraza is a luxury haute couture brand defined by a design language that merges sculptural precision, feminine empowerment, and modern elegance. The rich embroidery, dramatic silhouettes and the kind of construction that makes you stand differently the moment you put it on. The designer has won at both Paris Fashion Week and New York Fashion Week, and her evening wear has been worn by a roll call of celebrities including Carrie Underwood, Camilla Cabello, Mary J. Blige, etc.
Founded in 1969, Azza Fahmy is the grande dame of Egyptian luxury. A brand that has spent over five decades turning cultural heritage into wearable art. What makes this house extraordinary isn’t just its longevity; it’s the depth of its storytelling. Each collection is rooted in poetry, history and meaning, from Arabic calligraphy pieces inscribed with verses by Khalil Gibran to motifs drawn from ancient Egyptian temples and Ottoman-era iconography. In 2025, the house unveiled its debut high jewellery collection. A milestone that confirmed what insiders already knew. This is one of the Arab world’s most important luxury jewellers, full stop. Now run by Azza Fahmy’s daughters Fatma and Amina, the brand continues to evolve while never losing sight of the craftsmanship that made it iconic.
Sisters Aya and Mounaz Abdelraouf launched the brand in 2013, in Cairo, with a clear and confident vision to prove that Egyptian craftsmanship could hold its own against any European heritage house. Working with embossed leather and handcrafted brass hardware, each piece is a love letter to Egyptian artistry that manages to feel completely, unmistakably modern. The fact that Beyoncé, Gigi Hadid and Kris Jenner have all been spotted carrying their pieces says everything you need to know about the brand, though their loyal regional following knew long before the international celebrities caught on.
Founded in 2014 by Mohannad Kojak, the youngest participant on Project Runway Middle East, the Cairo-based brand is known for its dramatic, edgy style and its experiment in using extraordinary fabrics. Specialising in Haute Couture, Pret-a-Porter and Bridal, the brand’s concepts merge between arts, fashion and social movements. “Romanticising the dark reality” and social movements is what Kojak is all about. Focusing on humanitarian issues and problems related to empowerment and minorities makes every choice of its designs, colours and fabrics feel perfectly thought-out and curated, leading to designing for those individuals who dare to stand out and express their individuality through his work.
Another Cairo-based luxury fashion house established in 2012, known for its unconventional cuts, daring fabric combinations and rich storytelling. Pieces that are known to embody strength, grace and complex emotion. The design philosophy is about every collection being born from a personal experience so that the audience can relate to it, ensuring the perfect blend of functionality and artistic expression. The designer designs every dress as it belongs to the red carpet and as if it should bring the feeling of sublime, elegance and luxury.

Founded by Egyptian designers Ahmed Sabry and Daki Marouf, Sabry Marouf has built a distinctive identity through sculptural accessories that feel both artistic and wearable. The Cairo-born label is known for blending ancient Egyptian iconography with modern architectural aesthetics and surrealist influences with refined craftsmanship, resulting in pieces that stand out. From their signature metallic clutches to architectural silhouettes, Sabry Marouf has become one of the most recognisable Egyptian luxury brands on the international fashion scene.
