Frankie Muniz reveals 2026 racing plans, expanding beyond NA...

Frankie Muniz, who recently turned 40, will continue to compete full-time in the NASCAR Truck Series, again driving the No. 33 Ford for Team Reaume.

Muniz revealed the news in a special announcement in New York City, which included some racing plans outside of NASCAR as well.

Muniz will also compete full-time in the SRO GT4 America championship, driving a Mustang GT4 for Techsport Racing and with co-driver Tyler Stone.

I cannot wait," said Muniz in a video message. "It's going to be a crazy busy year. I've got the Malcolm (in the Middle) reboot coming out as well. Just can't wait to get the season started and get on the race track."

The popular American actor gained notoriety for his role in the sitcom “Malcolm in the Middle,” earning an Emmy Award nomination and two Golden Globe Award nominations. He has since appeared in numerous films and television shows, but he's always been a racing fan.

In the mid-2000s, he entered the open-wheel world in the mid-2000s with three years in the Champ Car Atlantic Series, placing as high as fourth and reaching as high as ninth in the final standings.

In 2023, he broke into the stock car scene with a full-time ride in the ARCA Menards Series. He ended his rookie season fourth in the championship standings with one top-five and 11 top-tens in 20 starts. His best result came at Michigan, placing fifth.

Since then, he's made two starts in the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts (formerly Xfinity) Series, while making 25 starts in the Truck Series. 2025 was his first full-time season at the Truck level, but he missed four races due to a wrist injury. He ended the year 26th in the final standings, but scored one top ten in the Daytona season-opener, placing tenth in that race. For Team Reaume, that was just their fifth top ten ever as an organization, so it was quite the accomplishment.
