The landscape of jewellery has long symbolised the discerning eye of its wearer. A silent form of communication that signals to its observers the level of care that goes into curating the perfect jewellery wardrobe. For those at the top of this unspoken hierarchy, Cartier is a name that remains ever-familiar. Catering to the highest echelon of jewellery connoisseurs, the Maison creates bespoke pieces defined by intricate architectures that remain unparalleled in its artistry. Now, the Maison adds another chapter to its poetic repertoire of jewellery, unveiling the second iteration of its 2026 High Jewellery Collection – Le Chœur des Pierres.
If there is one thing to note about Cartier, it’s that the iconic Maison never follows the rulebook. Rather than subscribing to the notion that high jewellery exists solely to project opulence, the Maison digs deeper, presenting a vivid study of colour, movement and fine craftsmanship. Translating to ‘The Choir of Stones’, the collection lives up to its title, with a poetic harmony composed of exceptional sapphires, emeralds, rubies and diamonds. The unique character of each stone serves as the foundation of every piece, preserving an innate sense of lightness and fluidity.
Speaking on the collection, Jacqueline Karachi-Langane, Cartier’s Director of High Jewellery Creation, said: “Letting a stone speak is to recognise in it a memory of the world, a beauty shaped by time and imbued with eternity.”
Initially unveiled at the Kyoto National Museum, the collection stays true to the Maison’s signature formula of exceptional brilliance paired with fine craftsmanship. The result is a series of creations that feel almost mystical to the eye, with a radiance unparalleled in the world of high jewellery. Through this collection, the Maison continues its meaningful narrative, bringing craftsmanship, design and brilliance together in a singular chapter.
The collection opens with the Stellara necklace, an artistic composition that brings together geometry, radiance and a wave-like movement that flows throughout the piece. Created from an array of radiant diamonds and anchored by a central 41.01-carat Ceylon sapphire, the necklace brings an extraordinary intensity to an already precious composition. It remains true to the Maison’s regal sensibility, exuding an opulent allure through its precise construction. As the stone takes centre stage, the intricate arrangement of diamonds draws the eye towards its brilliance. “The creation serves the stone, revealing its nuances, its brilliance, its sparkle and its inner vibration,” says Jacqueline.
By contrast, the Panthère Tunya piece shifts the focus between the Maison’s signature panther motif and a radiant emerald at its core. Rendered in onyx and diamonds, the motif is framed by a cascade of rich emerald beads, with the eye moving seamlessly between the two focal points. Alongside a 48.12-carat Zambian emerald, the beads introduce a sense of organic fluidity, while the panther takes shape through a poetic arrangement of onyx, diamonds and a nine-carat cushion-cut yellow diamond. The panther motif has long symbolised Cartier’s distinctive relationship with the wild, placing the Maison at a compelling intersection of opulence and the natural world.
The same natural spirit extends to the Tutti Chaya necklace, a contemporary reinterpretation of the Maison’s historic Tutti Frutti aesthetic, which Cartier has explored since the mid-1920s. Bringing together emeralds, rubies, sapphires, onyx and diamonds, the piece is defined by an asymmetrical design featuring Colombian emeralds totalling 56.97 carats. Beyond its visual appeal, the necklace stands as a testament to Cartier’s craftsmanship, having required nearly 2,000 hours of work to complete.
Shifting the narrative is the Tipaza necklace, which embraces a more understated elegance through a distinctive combination of two 7.36-carat briolette diamonds and three delicate strands of rubies. Brought to life through Cartier’s signature savoir-faire, the symmetrical arrangement of ruby strands creates a cascading effect around the diamonds, evoking waterfalls of light. This fluid approach balances movement with colour, while the diamonds introduce a luminous contrast against the rich tones of the rubies.
Further exploring the collection’s narrative, the Fibria necklace examines the relationship between colour, texture and design. Inspired by decorative textile trimmings, the piece combines emeralds, turquoise and rubies across two asymmetrical strands. The rubies and turquoise form the principal strand, arranged in a rope-like composition framed by an array of diamonds, before giving way to a horizontal arrangement of turquoise and diamonds. What makes the creation particularly striking, however, is its use of emeralds, with five stones, three of which form the central motif, progressively drawing the eye towards the middle of the necklace.
Completing the collection are five bespoke earring creations that explore unconventional approaches to wearing precious jewellery. Among them, the Undara earrings stand out for their sculptural design, inspired by the aquatic blue of spinels and reflecting Cartier’s enduring dialogue with the natural world. Their distinctive architecture offers a versatile approach to adornment, with a three-part construction that wraps intricately around the ear. Drawing inspiration from underwater forms, the earrings evoke waves reaching the shore, creating a fluid composition with an unmistakably aquatic character.

Beyond Undara, the Drosera earrings feature 18 rubies totalling 28.44 carats, nestled within a diamond-pavé structure that delicately wraps around the ear. The Ojai earrings combine pink and orange sapphires that adorn the upper ear, while the Volubia earrings explore an asymmetrical arrangement of emeralds and diamonds. Meanwhile, the Patellia earrings play with light through brown diamonds set upside down, offering a final expression of the Maison’s distinctive approach to high jewellery.
